One of the many beauties of being a celebrity is that you can spend your birthday in style. Julia Barretto, Maine Mendoza, Enrique Gil, Ellen Adarna, and Janella Salvador are just some of the people who turned a year with an out-of-this-world party.
How some celebrities celebrated in style
1. Julia Barretto’s fiesta
Earlier this March, Julia Barretto turned 21 with a Mexican-themed party. Of course, Joshua Garcia would be there on her birthday. Yassi Pressman, Enchong Dee, Elmo Magalona, Robi Domingo, and Bela Padilla were just some of the people surrounding Julia on her big day.
With banderitas, cocktails, and, a cake straight out of “The Book of Life” or “Coco,” everybody felt the fiesta all around them.
2. How Maine Mendoza Met Her 23rd Birthday
Along with Julia, Dubsmash Queen Maine Mendoza had a birthday last month. Her love for the show “How I Met Your Mother” inspired one of her six parties. Apparently, her fans threw it for her. Also in attendance were her family and closest friends, showbiz and non-showbiz.
She suited up, had the New York silhouette on her cake, and yellow umbrellas filled the ceilings. The night ended with a relaxing showing of “How I Met Your Mother”
3. Enrique Gil’s party on an island
Liza Soberano is probably the best girlfriend ever. She threw Enrique Gil a surprise Jamaican-themed birthday on an actual island. Part of the surprise was ferrying Quen’s family and friends to the island.
You can see the party in a video edit by Wishing Well.
4. Ellen Adarna’s spa day
With just a small party but an extravagant one, Ellen Adarna turned thirty earlier this month. Her closest friends surprised her with a spa-themed party.
She was wearing a tiara and her friends were in matching outfits. With cake and a massage, her birthday couldn’t get any better.
5. Janella Salvador in “La La Land”
Janella Salvador left her teens in the Philippines and danced her way to her 20’s in Los Angeles. Being the biggest “La La Land” fan, Janella and Elmo Magalona flew to LA and played Sebastian and Mia, leads in the film, for a bit.
In outfits identical to Ryan Gosling’s and Emma Stone’s characters, they took pictures in front of Griffith Observatory, a famous spot in the film. They also posted pictures of them in Griffith Park and the Smoke House. Then the too embody Mia and Sebastian and danced under the stars.
