Miss Universe 2016 candidates were present during the Fashion Show and National Gift Auction Charity Gala. The charity gala was held at the Conrad Hotel on Monday evening. Enrique Gil, Matteo Guidicelli, Hayden Kho and Victoria “Vicky” Belo were a few of those who were present during the event. Vicky Bello received the “Woman Of Excellence” award while Enrique Gil was able to get a selfie with one of the candidates, Miss Costa Rica.
There were a total of 86 items that were Miss Universe-related memorabilia at the National Gift Auction event according to a report by ABS-CBN. This event benefits the Pass it Forward foundation which supports the long standing advocacy of the Miss Universe Organization on raising awareness on HIV/AIDS.
On the charity gala, items which came all the way from the home countries of the Miss Universe 2016 candidates were flown in and were auctioned that evening. The report says the most expensive item on the list was from Ms. Brazil. The item was a pair of aquamarine pendant earrings valued at P120,000.
Other items that were auctioned included items like an ebony and gold chess set from Kazakhsta, Nelson Mandela memorabilia from South Africa, artworks from Mauritius, Balize and Angola, and a miniature ox cart from Costa Rica.
Enrique Gil Selfie With Miss Costa Rica, Matteo Guidicelli, Vicky Bello Receives Award
Enrique Gil, Liza Soberano’s rumored boyfriend, was lucky enough to take a selfie with Miss Costa Rica, Carolina Duran. Enrique posted the photo on Instagram and captioned it saying, “With Miss Costa Rica CR dinner with the Miss Universe Candidates tonight.” As soon as it was posted, it immediately got mixed reactions from fans all over. The actor captioned the photo with “Lizquen” became “Caroquen” on the comment feed saying how Miss Costa Rica and Enrique look good together.
There were even comments saying “Lizquen” was just a promo and how others say Enrique shouldn’t worry about Liza since there were many more out there. Another fan even said how Zsa Zsa Padilla, who was also present during the gala, relayed in an Instagram post that Miss Costa Rica was seating between Enrique and Matteo and that Liza even liked the picture. The fans said, “Nagpapa picture lang yan.”
Vicky Belo was also present during the event with Hayden Kho. Zsazsa Padilla congratulated Vicky Belo on Instagram for getting the “Woman Of Excellence” awards. Enrique also congratulated Vicky on Instagram saying, “Congratulations to Victoria Belo and Belo Beauty more than deserving to receive this award you have changed people’s lives and empower them with your little ways congrats again and may God bless you, your family, your work and your passion to make a change in people’s lives.
