POPCORN TIME LIVE BLOG/RECAP: Four more kids performed in the February 5 episode of “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids.” Crowd favorite Xia Vigor will be imitating Ariana Grande, while overall second placer Awra will attempt to channel Liza Minelli. Who else will wow the viewers tonight? Who will bag the best performance of the week award for week 5?
#YFSFPhenomenalKids Awra Briguela As Liza Minelli
Awra admitted during rehearsals that he had no idea who Liza Minelli was. His main takeaway from his coaches is that Liza Minelli is all about animated movement because of her Broadway background.
Awra came on stage performing “Life Is A Cabaret.” Then the judges gave their comments. Sharon said she was impressed by the 110 % effort that Awra always gives in his performances. Ogie called Awra an inspiration to many people, because of his talent and sweetness. He added that they were very proud of Awra. Gary then asked the audience if they were entertained and the audience gave a resounding yes. He then praised Awra’s talent in acting that was shown in this performance.

Xia was lucky enough to pick Ariana Grande, which other celebrity kids wanted to get as well. She came on stage to sing “Break Free.”
For judge Sharon, “cute” as a word to describe Xia is not enough. She noted that whenever she gets on stage, she always gives her best. Ogie on the other hand said Xia gives happiness to so many people and that for his is so precious. He added that she is becoming a winner in all her performances. Gary congratulated her for another great performance.

Justin confessed that he was so excited to get Ed Sheeran. During his vocal coaching, the coach told him to think about his crush when he sings the song “Thinking Out Loud.”
Sharon said that the song suited him and she appreciated how he was able to get the nuances of Ed Sheeran like his accent. Gary commended his performance, saying that he felt the song and the feelings he wanted to convey. Ogie added that Justin had the “kilig” factor. He also noted that like Ed Sheeran, Justin communicated his feelings very well.
#YFSFPhenomenalKids Sam Shoaf As Pepe Smith
Last to perform is Sam Shoaf as Pepe Smith. He came on stage all made up and looking exactly like the Pinoy rocker. After singing “Balong Malalim,” the judges were asked to give their comments.
Ogie said that Sam has the “sanib” factor. He also called Sam’s performance as “masterful.” Gary commented that Sam showed the younger version of Pepe Smith. He noted that that was how Pepe Smith would perform when he was younger and called his performance as “outstanding.” Sharon gave him a standing ovation and told him that she was so proud of him.

After the judges gave out the stars for these week’s performances, Sam Shoaf was named this week’s winner.
