As the week of competitions ends, fans will soon find out who will make it to the final showdown. Up on stage tonight is fan favorite Awra Briguela who will perform as Louis Armstrong. Will she be up for the challenge? Or will Lyca Gairanod’s impersonation of Donna Cruz impress the jury. Justin Alva will be performing as Lionel Richie, while Xia Vigor will be singing as Julie Andrews. #YFSFUnstoppableKids Xia Vigor As Julie Andrews Xia Vigor picked a classic music icon, Julie Andrews. During rehearsals, Xia said that she was excited to have picked a British singer. Xia as most people know, is half-British. She came on stage to perform Julie Andrew’s Do Re Mi, from the Sound of Music movie. The judges then gave their comments. Sharon congratulated Xia for an awesome performance. She also said that she was amazing as always and very smart as well. Gary said that he did not like her performance, but instead loved it. Ogie on the other hand said she was incredible because she was being herself. #YFSFUnstoppableKids Awra Briguela As Louis Armstrong Breakout child star Awra Briguela picked another challenging icon this week. With Louis Armstrong as her icon, Awra prepared to sing and perform Armstrong’s iconic hit, What A Wonderful World. Their vocal coach said that imitating Armstrong’s voice is going to be a challenge for Awra. After her performance, they paused a bit to remember Awra’s birthday. Then the judge shared their comments. Gary called Awra an artist and that he was moved by the performance. Ogie felt the same way as Gary. At first, he found himself laughing but as Awra performed, he was impressed by how good it was. Sharon also said that the judges were so impressed with Awra tonight. #YFSFUnstoppableKids Lyca Gairanod As Donna Cruz Sweetheart ng Bayan Lyca Gairanod got another OPM artist, which is her comfort zone. She rehearsed Donna Cruz’ 90s hit Kapag Tumibok Ang Puso. She went onstage to perform the song complete with dance moves. Ogie said she gave a good performance but told her that she should be consistent when she performs. Sharon said that what Lyca did was good in entertainment value. Gary commended her for a good performance. #YFSFUnstoppableKids Justin Alva As Lionel Richie Last to perform is Justin Alva, who picked 80s star Lionel Richie as his icon. While he was rehearsing Hello, their vocal coach said that Lionel Richie performed with so much emotion and his voice was smooth like a whisper. The judges were once again amazed by Justin’s performance. Gary said that he attacked his performance with emotion, making it another effective performance. Ogie commended Justin for his acting prowess. Sharon on the other hand said that this was one of her favorite performances. #YFSFUnstoppableKids Week 12 Winner Is Sam Shoaf Getting 21 stars total, Sam Shoaf won for his performance as Bamboo. This is third win. According to host Billy Crawford, there are two more weeks left in the competition until the grand showdown.
