Facebook Down, Shows Error Message

People are going berzerk over Facebook down which has been a trending topic in Australia since Tuesday morning. The error message says, “Sorry, something went wrong” is causing users to rant about it on Twitter.

SCMP News says Facebook Down has hit not just Australia but Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and areas in the Philippines as well.

Facebook Down Error message, Mark Zuckerberg yet to explain

A number of tweets have been posted on Twitter sharing screenshots of the error message seen. “Facebook Down” has since been number one topic on Twitter as of writing with more than 4k tweets.

Some users are trying to log in, however, an error always pops up. Users are puzzled as to why this is happening and is causing quite a stir on Twitter. It seems Facebook has been such a big part of people’s lives that this system error seems like a shut down of a major service like electricity. One user on Twitter said, “Oh My God, if this spreads, we might have to talk to each other in actual reality.”

Since the social media platform was out, users have been using Twitter instead. Rumors say this is the first time this year that Facebook has encountered a system error this big that it has affected numerous areas. A user said the problem has been going on for two days now.

As usual, memes have been coming out about this issue. Here are some of them.
