Baguio City summer Capital of the Philippines has a lot of good places for that much-needed food trip most especially during  Father’s Day. From affordable meals to some of the most expensive dishes, Baguio has it all.

Father’s Day is a time when we salute and honor our fathers for all the sacrifices they have been doing for us. We welcome and celebrate it through a lot of thoughtful gestures. It started with simply giving our gifts with a letter having all our thoughts and dedications on it. But in this day and age when millennials became so creative and ingenious, it has become more difficult to think of what to give because of so much technology. So, let’s go back to basics and give the one thing dads love most, food.

There are a lot of places here in Baguio City like cafes or restaurants to choose from. Here are some places you could visit on Father’s Day.

Father’s Day 2018, Where to go

1. #Pangmasa

I’ve heard people say that “ Hindi ka nakapunta ng Baguio kung hindi ka kumain sa GoodTaste.” After hearing that,  I asked my mom if we could give it a try and she replied yes. We went exactly that day and all the food we had was so gratifying and felicitous. So if you’re on a tight budget and you’d like to take your dad to a place where he will certainly be satisfied, take him to Good Taste.

 2. #SaloSalo

Next in line is one of Baguio’s place for ribs and steak, Jaime’s Family Feast. It’s the place where you can take your dad and the whole family and feel as if you are eating in lola’s house. Get big servings while enjoying a meal in a house-like place where everyone in the family can just sit down and enjoy a  salo-salo.

3.#Kakaiba

Dating our dad’s can cost too much. However, there is this place in Baguio City where we can actually date our dad’s without thinking too much about the cost. It isn’t that cheap, and it’s a bit classy yet still affordable. Habibis Grill near Burnham Park. Habibis Grill offers Lebanese, Arabic, Mediterranean and Filipino food. This variety will indeed make your Father excited. Something new and something old. So, I suggest you not to worry and take your Dad to Habibis. Grill.

4.#Sosyal

If elegance and class are what you’re looking for, choose to celebrate Father’s Day at Camp John Hay. It offers a variety of food at the Hub, the commissary, The Manor, or Le Chef while giving you the feel of being in the US.  If you want to date your dad, go to Camp John Hay where it’s peaceful and somehow romantic, I’m telling you, it’s the best option if you have some money to spend.

5.#Kalmado

If you’re looking for a place to chill, Volante is a well known Baguio place that gives you that option. The Camp John Hay branch is a good choice. Not that fancy just good food, good company, no wifi meaning more conversation, and just right for what dad wants.

I have seen how people celebrate Father’s Day and it is really something that catches my attention. I wasn’t able to meet my father since I was a kid but whenever I see people celebrating it I always have this notion in mind that they are really lucky for having a father. So treasure every moment with your dad. Go on a date with your him and create those memories.
