Remember the #1 sexiest woman in the Philippines named by FHM Philippines in 2016? It’s none other than the gorgeous and talented Jessy Mendiola who celebrates her birthday on the third of December. The past year, the actress was noticeably missing from the limelight amidst the issues and speculations running her way. And according to Jessy, she actually almost dropped out of showbiz. Fortunately, she pulled through and she’s stronger than ever. She’s back starring in Jay Abello’s film The Girl In The Orange Dress opposite Jericho Rosales for the first time. And their film is also one of the contenders in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
2. Derek Ramsay (Dec. 7)
Another hottie on the list is the ever popular Derek Ramsay who celebrates his birthday on December 7. Earlier this year, Derek made headlines together with actors Paulo Avelino and Bea Alonzo for their daring movie Kasal with director Ruel S. Bayani. Soon after, Derek was whisked into filming Mga Mata Sa Dilim with Jessy Mendiola. And in the middle of all that, the actor opened his gym Platinum Fitness and signed a new contract with GMA-7.

Sam Pinto celebrates her birthday on December 11. And for the model slash actress, 2017 was her year in television limelight. There, she played as the antagonists in Ang Probinsyano and in La Luna Sangre. Then she moved on to add another business venture in line with her bikini line (Sirena Swimwear), the L’Sirene Boutique Resort found in Baler, Aurora. She is serving alongside husband Richard Gomez who is the current mayor of Ormoc city. The first-ever winner of the ABS CBN talent search Star Circle Quest Hero Angeles celebrates his birthday on December 8. And did you know that the actor, who only returned to the showbiz scene in 2015, is actually a very talented artist? After dropping out of the limelight, he focused on his art. Starting from being an illustrator and graphic designer, he began to experiment. He tried coffee as a medium then he did scribble art. And then, he went on to make miniature paintings. However, now, he’s making a comeback to showbiz. And he has recently won the best male personality award in the Inding Indie Film Festival.
6. Eula Valdes (Dec. 11)
Hailed as the “MMK Queen,” one of the industry’s veteran stars Eula Valdes celebrates her birthday on the 11th of December. She has come a long way from her iconic role as Amor Powers in the original Pangako Sa’Yo series. Last year, she played as one of the villains in GMA’s Encantadia. Then, she went on to join the cast of the hit primetime ABS series The Good Son which ended last April. Now, she is working on the General’s Daughter together with Angel Locsin, Paulo Avelino, Maricel Soriano, and Albert Martinez. The series is expected to air sometime in 2019.
7. Manny Pacquiao (Dec. 17)
A name any Filipino would surely recognize is the Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao who celebrates his birthday on December 17. Among his many achievements are being the first boxer to win major world titles in four out of eight boxing weight classes, being named as the “Fighter of the Decade” of the 2000s, and ranking #4 in BoxRec’s greatest pound for pound boxers of all time. But, he has been resting from his boxing career and now, he is making headlines serving as a senator of the country.

A veteran sure known by many is Gloria Romero or Tita Glo who celebrates her birthday on the 16th of December. The actress has been in the show business for more than 60 years already. Veteran actress Lorna Tolentino celebrates her birthday a little bit closer to Christmas Day itself on the 23rd of December. And in her long and successful time in showbiz, she has earned recognition for her heavy dramatic portrayals in the primetime award-winning TV dramas. After her movie Narito Ang Puso Ko, the actress earned her Grandslam actress title putting her in line with Nora Aunor, Vilma Santos, and Sharon Cuneta. 10. Jake Cuenca (Dec. 30)
