Lily Mac Mac apologizes for racist tweets

Lily regrets posting racist tweets that are already four years old. The report says the tweets resurfaced on Reddit. Lily’s comments include how she preferred dating “white guys” over Asian men and how she called African men to “black dogs.” Another tweet read, “If another short Asian dude tries buying me a drink I’m going to puke on them.”

The Filipina model tweeted, “In light of what is resurfacing, I want to say sorry for what I said when I was obviously close-minded and away from public eye.” She added, “It was wrong then and wrong now but I now know better.”

The report further mentioned that Lily’s mother said Lily was pure Filipino but wasn’t proud of it because of the “pinoy” mentality. She said this was the reason why they migrated to Australia.

Checking Lily’s Twitter page @lilymacmac, it seems it was already suspended. She now uses @lilymaymac and used this account to post her apology.
