Without a doubt, Filipino films are making its way to the worldwide platform joining the ranks of internationally acclaimed blockbusters. This is evident as Netflix once again selected a number of Filipino films expected to stream this November via Netflix Philippines including “Heneral Luna,” “BuyBust,” “Kita Kita,” and “Beauty and the Bestie.”

The streaming giant began selecting Filipino titles including Academy Award-nominated coming-of-age indie film“Birdshot” by Mikhail Red which screened on March 26, making it the first Filipino film to be seen globally.  Variety also stated that the drug war drama “AMO” directed by Brillante Mendoza was also selected being the “first series from the Philippines” that rolled out worldwide on April 9.

Filipino Films to Stream via Netflix Philippines this November 2018

On Netflix Philippines, the thought-provoking historical drama “Heneral Luna” is set to screen on November 1 while Erik Matti’s “BuyBust” starring Anne Curtis is scheduled on November 15.

Rom-com “Kita Kita” starring Alessandra De Rossi and Empoy Marquez will stream on November 16 and comedy film “Beauty and the Bestie” with  Vice Ganda and Coco Martin will be in the lineup on November 26. 

The Philippine Star further reveals that a number of Filipino titles will be streaming via Netflix soon. The list includes “My Ex & Whys,” “It Takes a Man and a Woman,” “Seven Sundays,” “Starting Over Again,” “That Thing Called Tadhana,” “The Breakup Playlist,” “The Mistress,” “Vince & Kath & James.”

These films will be available internationally for Netflix subscribers abroad. The schedule of these films’ premieres may vary.
