New York Fashion Week 2016: So, what are they wearing, exactly?

This year is a mix up of creations from the well-known fashion czars but will be spiced up with  new brands/designers that will hit the runway for the first time. TBH fashion being this fresh every season keeps everyone on their knees!

NYFC first-timers include By.Bonnie Young, Club Monaco, Frances Valentine, God Save Queens, Kenzo, Krewe, Lois London, Misha Collection, Oday Shakar, PH5, Talitha, and Vipe Activewear,

Thinking of which brand fits your style? Think no more!

1.Bonnie Young for the Glam Girl

If you love fashion because you’re the glamour girl who-work-practicality type, Bonnie Young is for you. Her pieces show her obsession with wide-leg pants and textured blouses. She includes sheaths in her collection that shouts “70’s Glamour Girl!” She also has some classy knits for layered looks.

2.Club Monaco for the Elegant Belle

For ladies who like grown up fashion, your go-to designer should be Club Monaco by its Creative Director, Caroline Belhumeur.

3.Misha Collection for the Classy Sass

If, however, you are more into neutral-colored bodycon dresses Misha Collection is for you.

4.Lois London for the Goddess in you

For the jetsetter goddesses out there, designer Lois London has got you covered. Her Grecian-style dresses will surely make you feel like Aphrodite as she debuts her line at the Harlem Fashion Row.

5.Tabitha for the Carefree Bohemian

For any woman’s favorite hangout staples, the collection of Tabitha featuring upscale versions of comfy casual wear is a godsend. Poppy D and Kristy Hume will be modeling the label’s pieces.

6.Oday Shakar for the Ecclectic Chic

If you want a fusion of Western and Middle eastern influences with the global news trend today, Oday Shakar will bring just that. Although she is a NYFW newbee, Oday Shakar dresses red carpet royals Sandra Bullok and Diana Agron in sequins and painted silks.

7.PH5 for the Cool Cat

PH5, on the other hand, are for the cool girls out there! Label founder Wei Lin hails from a heritage of textile manufacturers and collaborates with co-designer Mijia Zhang from Nike and Christopher Kane. Isn’t that uber cool? If that is still hard to believe, check it out on Ph5, click here.

8.God Save Queens’s for the Foxy Lady

Finally, to get intimate, the runway will feature God Save Queens’s — the lingerie endorsed by no other than Kendall Jenner on Instagram. Any foxy lady will find fashion debutant designer Karolina Bernaciak’s lingerie collection enticing.

Accessories, accessories and more accessories!

If you love bags and shoes, watch out for Frances Valentine’s accessories collection. This screams style in all four directions. Pieces will feature tweedy fabrics and cool-girl silhouettes and are already available online.

Needing a new perspective? This season’s shades of yellow shades are the new thing now thanks to Krewe. Their optics are manufactured in New Orleans and Beyonce has been sited with this #Krewe Du Optic.
