The Beta period runs from the 19th, 2 AM (GMT+8) until July 24 at 2PM (GMT +8). The beta version will give a deeper look on the most-anticipated sequel to “Destiny” developed by Bungie. Although the game’s full release is set to September 6, 2017, Bungie opened the game up to the playerbase portion. The beta version includes Destiny 2’s Homecoming, the game’s first campaign mission; the Crucible, the online player-versus-player arena; and The Inverted Spire which is the multiplayer Strike. It also includes some new Subclasses and a new Social Space. Destiny 2 Beta is a “blast” CNET says Destiny 2 beta is a “blast.” According to CNET’s Destiny addict, the game ran smoothly. At first, players will get to choose from a trio of character classes (Titan, Warlock, or Hunter). Then the game leads to a “cutscene” where Cabal enemy forces attack the Tower, a hub from the original game. At the end of that scene, the player’s character lands on the Tower at the middle of a battle. The character then helps civilians escape the tower with the help of vanguards. Destiny 2’s effects and weaponry promise tons of thrills. Throughout, the game, the “richer atmospheric effects, better explosion animations and a more realistic graphics set the stage.” Even shooting guns has been made more satisfying. Each class in the game gets to sample a different exotic weapon which is weaved into the story. The Titan’s weapon is called “Sweet Business” which is an auto rifle. The Warlock gets submachine gun called the “Riskrunner,” and the Hunter uses a hand cannon called “Sunshot.” Destiny 2 Shows Off Skills for New Subclasses. Gamesport reveals the galleries that Destiny 2 features that pretty much shows off the skills for the new subclasses. These galleries include the Warlock Voidwalker Skills, Warlock Dawnblade Skills, Hunter Arcstrider Skills, Hunter Gunslinger Skills, Titan Striker Skills and Titan Sentinel Skills. It is to be noted, however, that the beta version does not include some subclasses including the Solar Titan, Void Hunter and Arc Warlock.
