Gerald Anderson: A Look Back on His Previous Relationships

On Sunday, the internet went ablaze in the light of the Gerald Anderson cheating rumors. As the story goes, photos of Gerald Anderson and Julia Baretto allegedly being sweet together at Rayver Cruz’ birthday party surfaced on Instagram.  Kath Cabrera who posted the photo also claimed that she saw Gerald and Julia enter the same car together describing their actions as “iba.” According to Cabrera, she posted the photos for Bea Alonzo’s sake saying that Gerald doesn’t deserve Bea.

After that, Bea posted a plain black photo on her Instagram. Her captions says “you can’t make the same mistake twice, the second time you make it, it’s not a mistake anymore, it’s a choice.” Under it was the word “ENOUGH.” In addition to that, Bea also posted a cryptic message on her Instagram stories. It says “Something I learned about people… If they do it once, they’ll do it again.” Further adding fuel to the Gerald Anderson cheating rumors, Bea also liked Cabrera’s post. Netizens were also keen to see that Bea deleted all her Instagram photos with Gerald in it.

It can be remembered that Bea and Gerald first started dating each other in 2010 in a short whirlwind romance. Six years later, they gave it a second chance and have gone through ups and downs together up until now. But before Bea came into his life, Gerald was also in other relationships that had the nation rooting for them. Here’s a glimpse of those relationships:

1. Farina Runkle

Gerald’s first known relationship to reach the public spotlight was with Farina Runkle. Back then, photos of him and Farina spread like wildfire in their PBB days. And in a press conference with ABS, Gerald admitted that he and Farina had a mutual understanding. However, he says that it was a long time ago and they have chosen to go separate ways but maintain their friendship.

2. Kim Chiu

The issue with Gerald and Farina came at a time when the Gerald-Kim tandem was gaining traction in the PBB house. But, it didn’t stop the couple from being together. Starting as the love team Kimerald in 2006, people soon began to speculate that there was more going on between the two. However, the two always denied being in a relationship. According to ABS, Gerald described what they had as a “special relationship.” But, whatever they had ended in 2010. According to Pep, Gerald admitted that both he and Kim decided to concentrate on their careers back then. But, they still remain as good friends.

3. Sarah Geronimo

In 2011, after starring in the film “Catch Me, I’m In Love” with Sarah Geronimo, Gerald started wooing Sarah. However, they never really got to be in an official relationship. After a year wooing the popstar, Gerald stopped to the shock of many. In an interview with ABS, the actor said that it was a mutual decision. But, both he and Sarah have decided to maintain their friendship.

4. Maja Salvador

In 2013, it came as a shock to many when Gerald started a relationship with Maja Salvador, Kim Chui’s best friend. According to Maja, she asked Kim for permission to date Gerald and the latter gave it to her. But, that didn’t stop the relationship from driving a wedge between the friends according to Philstar. Unfortunately, two years later, the couple broke up. Neither side offered an explanation but, Maja and Kim had reportedly patched things up.

As of now, there isn’t any news as to where Bea and Gerald’s relationship stands. Neither parties involved have also not yet given any statements regarding the Gerald Anderson cheating rumors.
