Gerald Anderson Posts Convo With Mom On IG, Lolit Solis Comments

“My Perfect You” lead actor Gerald Anderson got the attention of fans for posting on Instagram a conversation he had with his mom. It also caught the eye of entertainment news writer and host Lolit Solis. Meanwhile, Gerald also talks about the recent issue on Bea Alonzo unfollowing Gerald’s c0-star Pia Wurtzbach on Instagram.

Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo have been rumored to be dating. Gerald recently starred in a movie with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach in a movie called “My Perfect You,” where he plays the character named Burn. Right around the time when they were promoting the movie, Bea unfollowed Gerald and Pia on IG which created quite a stir on social media.

Gerald recently posted a photo of his conversation with his mom. The screenshot, as seen below, started with his mom saying that the bank will be closed on Saturday. Gerald replied with, “wait” a few times. His mom sent a few replies making sure if she should go to the bank or not. Gerald finally said, “Tomorrow ma, don’t worry, I’ll send you in the morning.” Gerald’s mom replied to him and called him by the character he portrayed on “My Perfect You,” saying, “Hoy Burn, your movie making money na, ok Burn tomorrow ha, promise.”

Gerald posted the thread of this conversation on Instagram and captioned it, “Hindi ako nakapagpadala ng pera sa mama ko today, ito text nya sa akin. #alwaysgivewhatyourmamaneeds #burn #myperfectyou #mothercare #family.” Most of the comments on IG were very positive saying how sweet they are as mother and son. But other fans took it negatively saying his mother is “money hungry.”

The convo also caught the attention of Lolit Solis who posted a lengthy comment about it. As seen in the screenshot below, Lolit commented on what other people are saying about the fact that Gerald’s mother was asking help from her son. Lolit says there wasn’t anything wrong with that because it’s a son’s responsibility to take care of his mom. She has the right. But Lolit also says the conversation is a private matter and should not be shared on social media.

Meanwhile, in a report by PEP, Gerald defends rumored girlfriend Bea Alonzo. Some say her move to unfollow him and Pia on IG was just a move to promote Gerald’s movie. To bashers he said, “Wow, talaga?!” and added how they should first make sure they are perfect before they judge other people. Gerald confirms he and Bea are okay and that they are moving forward.
