Google made some cool announcements during their “Made by Google” event on Tuesday, October 4. It was a haven for techy people around the globe since it announced a host of hardware all under the “Made by Google” banner. This years Google hardware event was more “out there” compared to the previous events since Google is used to keeping it low key when it comes to advertising.

Here are the 5 Biggest Announcements You need to know

Pixel Phones 

Introducing Pixel, Google’s new smartphone. The first ever smartphone designed and engineered by Google. Pixel phone price starts at $649 and comes in two sizes, Pixel and the Pixel XL. As to Google Pixel’s design and specs, it is built by HTC and is powered by the Snapdragon 821 processor. It’s storage comes either  32Gb or 128 GB. But wait, there’s more! A battery that charges 7 hours in 15 minutes. It’s main feature: the embedded intelligent assistant.

Daydream View

Say hello to the soft and light headset with a head-mounted viewer that works with compatible smartphones. This VR headgear has sensors that works well for video games. Daydream view price starts at $79 and will be available in Canada, Germany, Australia  and the UK  in November.

Chromecast Ultra

Get rid of the old Google Chromecast you have, because Google now has what you’ve been wanting: 4k Video streaming.  Chromecast Ultra price starts at $69 and will be released in the US on November.

Google Home Availability

Need a voice command home assistant? Google Home makes it possible since it has built in microphones and functions like a hub for all your home gadgets. It even supports streaming apps like Spotify. Google Home price starts at $129 and will be available on November.

Google Assistant

It is now coming to reality, your ‘personal Google’ assistant.  Google announced that this assistant will be compatible with a third-party service and will allow Google device owners to control home gadgets and products and even call Uber!
