Halle Bailey is famously known as part of the duo named Chloe x Halle. The two are sisters who were born in Atlanta, Georgia and was raised in Los Angeles, California. They rose to stardom through YouTube. For 8 years, the Bailey Sisters have maximized the power of this platform posting their song covers and original compositions.
The first video they posted in their official account was a cover of Beyonce’s “Best Thing I Never Had.”
2. She was under Beyonce’s record label
In 2013, after being active for 2 years on YouTube, the duo has been recognized by Beyonce as one of the most iconic singers in the world. Their cover of ‘Pretty Hurts’ caught the attention of the Single Ladies singer.

Halle joins the list of Disney’s live-action princesses as she takes on the role of Ariel in the Little Mermaid reboot. Rob Marshall, director, and producer of the reboot tell Variety that Halle has a huge advantage from the start. He said that the combination of her spirit, heart, youth, innocence, and substance, plus her amazing talent in singing gave her the role.
Halle will join Jacob Tremblay and Awkwafina as the set of characters for the reboot. While Melissa McCarthy is still in talks to play the villain Ursula.
