Hello Kitty Wine Varieties

According to the LA Times, Patrizia Torti said that the project started in 2007. They have been saving some of their harvest for the Hello Kitty brand. Other varities have been produced.

If you prefer sparkling white wine, they have the Cupido. This is made of only Pinot Noir grapes. They also have the Rosé collection which is sparkling white wine vinified in Rosé. Charmy is also one of the choices if you are into white wine and of course Lady, if your are more of a red wine kind of person.

Hello Kitty Wine, where to buy

As of today, the Hello Kitty wine is available at Antonello Ristorante in Los Angeles. Restaurant owner Antonio Cagnolo said that on October 12, an entire menu that includes the Hello Kitty wine will be available. He tells the LA Times, “We worked diligently with the Sanrio people to pick and choose the right combination of food for the special wine.”

What if you’re not in Los Angeles you say?

Not to worry, the Hello Kitty Wine will be distributing in other countries soon and the best part is it won’t be on a limited edition. So just be patient because it may land in Asia soon.

Oh one more special thing about the Hello Kitty wine (aside from the fact of course that it is a Hello Kitty brand) is that the grapes used in these wines are handpicked. Patrizia Torti says, “We produce a special bottle with a heart, only for Hello Kitty.”
