Coldplay Manila Concert: How To Get Tickets, Plus How To Request

Coldplay

Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams concert in the Philippines on April 4 at the MOA Concert Grounds in Manila is fast approaching. Just when fans who weren’t able to get tickets thought it was the end of the world, Coldplay Philippines announced additional Coldplay tickets are up for grabs starting March 8.

In November last year, Coldplay confirmed their Philippine concert via a two-second clip posted on the band’s social media accounts. Tickets were on presale since Nov. 15 all throughout Nov. 24. In those days, thousands of tickets were sold yet thousands of fans were also left with none since tickets were sold out. Now, tickets are again up for sale due to public demand.

How to get Additional Coldplay Tickets, Coldplay Ticket price

On March 6, Coldplay Philippines posted the announcement of additional tickets via Facebook. Sale for these tickets will start on Wednesday, March 8 and will be available through SM ticket outlet or at smtickets.com.

The greatest news is that the price will be the same as it was first sold in November. Coldplay ticket price are as follows: VIP would still be at P 22,500; Platinum at P 17,500; Gold at P12,500; Silver at P 7,500; Bronze at P3,5-; and Gen Ad at P1,800.

Fans who may call 470-222 for any other questions they might have on ticket sales.

On Twitter, Coldplay Tickets further announced that the sale of additional tickets are due to public demand.

Coldplay to play Requested songs from fans, #ManilaRequest, here’s how

Who else would ask fans to request for songs they would play at a super big concert? Coldplay would. It could just be any Coldplay fan’s dream. On the same day Coldplay announced additional tickets, the band also announced that fans could indeed request for a song that the band would perform on April 4. The post even read, “a song you’d like to hear (which the band don’t usually play).” Of course, it should be a Coldplay song.

If you do want to join in on the fun, Coldplay Philippines gives us the step by step process. First, you should have a fifteen second or less request video with you on a plain background. No background music, just you stating the song you’d like the band to play and why you chose that specific song.

Once you have the video, upload on Instagram with the name of your chosen song as a hashtag (ie #yellow) plus the hashtag #ManilaRequest and tag Coldplay @Coldplay. If it gets chosen, your song gets played. Once you’re in the concert, the “Anchorman” on Facebook requests that you share pictures and videos on social media using #ColdplayManila.

Here are some of the requests made already posted.
