YG supergroup iKON recently released the full tracklist for their new album ‘Return,’ exciting K-pop fans everywhere. This marks the group’s second full album and latest Korean comeback after touring in Japan. ‘Return’ features twelve total songs, including eight new tracks and four Korean rereleases of Japanese songs. Tracks Composed by B.I.
iKON leader B.I. helped compose, produce, and write lyrics for all twelve tracks on ‘Return.’ The talented rapper also gets his own solo track in ‘One and Only,’ arranged by CHOICE37. Group member Bobby also helped B.I. with lyrics for title track ‘Love Scenario.’ A first glimpse at the track art shows a monochromatic, chic new look for the K-pop group.
Other YG artists contribute their talents to ‘Return,’ including Psy, Epik High leader Tablo, and Big Bang member Taeyang. Psy leaves his mark in the track ‘Everything.’ Tablo composed and arranged ‘Hug Me,’ which is sure to be a lyrical masterpiece. Taeyang also pitches in with his composing talents on the special bonus track ‘Long Time No See.’
‘Return’ Teaser Film
In anticipation of their newest album, iKON has already released a teaser film on their comeback. In the teaser, Bobby narrates to a backdrop of psychedelic scenes, close-ups of members, and haunting music. When translated, the rapper asks if we need to cling to the past. He explains that by doing so, we end up losing ourselves. Instead, Bobby says, we need to remember how to feel alive again. He ends the teaser film by saying that “The new kids return,” hinting at the comeback album.
