Husband Arnel Cowley Shares What Isabel Granada Said Before Collapsing

Isabel Granada is in stable but critical condition as revealed by husband Arnel Cowley. The actress and singer was reported to be in a coma at a hospital in Qatar. Husband Arnel shares what happened moments before Isabel collapsed and gives the real deal on Isabel’s situation.

On Wednesday, Oct 25, Isabel’s friend Lalaine Binaca Lapus posted on Facebook sad news about Isabel being in a coma. Lalaine said Isabel just collapsed This instantly got shared and went trending on Twitter. No official statements were released by the family but nonetheless, fans and other celebrities immediately asked prayers for Isabel. Isabel Granada before collapsing, ‘ay, nahihilo ako,’

After much speculation, Isabel Granada’s husband Arnel Cowley finally speaks about Isabel’s condition. He also shares what happened moments before Isabel Granada collapsed.

Apparently, on Oct 24, Isabel was rushed to a hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage which indicated a brain aneurysm that affected her heart. Arnel shares in an interview with Bandila on ABS-CBN that Isabel is in critical but stable condition and is still unresponsive and unconscious. Doctors tell Arnel that although unconscious she can still hear what’s happening around her so he constantly talks to her while in the hospital.

Cowley then shares events that occurred before she collapsed. He says that Isabel complained about a headache in the morning. She just drank some pain reliever and didn’t pay much attention to it since they thought it was just a normal headache. When they were in the office, Isabel just said, “ay, nahihilo ako,” and that’s when she collapsed. “It was quite sudden,” Arnel says.

Arnel added that “there were no signs of anything.” She was even having quite a few laughs before it happened. He says Isabel is quite healthy and fit and does a lot of sports and even called her hyperactive. As far as any medical condition, he can’t remember anything that would lead to this.

When asked if Isabel will undergo any operation, Arnel said the doctors say it’s not an option at the moment until they finally know if she’s really stable.
