Jaden Smith, Kpop

Jaden Smith continues to surprise fans not only in the fashion industry but now in the music industry. Will Smith’s son, Jaden, posted on Twitter what fans think could either be the most interesting or the weirdest thing ever. Apparently, Jaden will be releasing a K-Pop single soon. Yes, a K-Pop single.

Jaden Smith on Becoming a K-Pop Star

This is not the first time Jaden has shown interest in becoming a K Pop star. In December, the “Karate Kid” star shared on Twitter a statement that would maybe shift his career from rapping to doing K Pop.

Jaden’s tweet read, “I Just wanna be a K Pop Star.” This tweet has had around 41k likes and 31k retweets. Since then, K Pop and Jaden’s fans couldn’t help but have mixed emotions about it. Some were skeptic thinking how on earth he could pull it off or if it even was a real “goal.”

Jaden Smith On K-Pop Single, Twitterverse reacts

On April 21, at around 6:00 a.m., child actor and rapper Jaden Smith boldly posted on Twitter that he will indeed be dropping a K-Pop single in the next four months. His tweet, as seen below, has gotten 17k likes,  around 9k retweets, and around 2k comments.

The likes and retweets are a usual thing knowing that Jaden is one of the teens who has been making headlines recently. The comments, however, are a  different story. Netizens on Twitter seem to have been taking this news seriously while others are taking it as a joke.

Let’s start with those who took Jaden’s tweet seriously. Some actually thank Jaden that he is getting into K-Pop and some maybe believe but wonder how he’s actually going to go about it. Some show their support saying “I support you, don’t listen to those crazy kpoopers.”

Others are just dumbfounded sharing memes asking Jaden to stop. One even said it isn’t K Pop if one hasn’t trained under a Korean company and actually debut in Korea. Of course, you can’t remove the hilarious memes about it. Here are some of the tweets we think are worth sharing.

Jaden Smith stars with Cara Delevigne in the upcoming teen drama “Life In A Year.”
