Share on Facebook Share on Twitter To compare and contrast three of the most popular loveteams in the Philippines is not as easy as we think. These three loveteams are still six individual people who have their own backgrounds, personalities, likes, and dislikes. So it isn’t easy to spot a commonality among these three couples– thankfully, Pilipinas Popcorn found a few for you. Here are few what Jadine, Lizquen and Kathniel have in common: Jadine, Lizquen, Kathniel Similarities 1. All couples went abroad for a movie shoot. One of the most famous roles that we see from these artists, aside from their product endorsements and music video shoots, are their acting roles. They star in high-grossing films that are usually romance-comedies– a Filipino favorite film genre. On Kathniel’s shoot of the drama film “Barcelona” in 2016, both Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla plus their cast and crew, flew to Barcelona, Spain to shoot the film. This was directed by Olivia Lamasan. Similarly, Nadine Lustre and James Reid also went to Karatus Castle, Japan, to shoot their lovey-dovey film “This Time” directed by Nel Crisostomo back in the same year. Meanwhile, for Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, they traveled to Korea for their Cathy Molina-Garcia film, “My Ex and Whys” just recently this year. 2. Couples sing for Production numbers in Kapamilya shows. As part of the ABS-CBN Kapamilya family, Lizquen, Jadine and Kathniel all perform in network programs like “It’s Showtime,” and “ASAP.” One of their notable performances all together was when they sang during the Kapamilya Day in “It’s Showtime.” 3. They are in need of some separation/solo acts Just recently, Liza Soberano got hitched for the role of the upcoming reboot of “Darna.” On the other hand, Enrique Gil got a role in the family-drama film starring Aga Muhlach’s comeback in “Seven Sundays.” These are one of the few moments where the loveteam were not together in one film. And according to some, it would be a great opportunity for all the other couples to try this out as a way of growing as individual artists. It was predicted how loveteams Jadine and Kathniel will follow suit in this ‘separation’ style order to gauge a better role in entertainment media. 4. Lizquen, Jadine, and Kathniel all won in PUSH Awards. In 2016, the couples were all voted under the category “Most Favorite Group/Tandem.” In fact, all three have been nominated– and have always been consistently suggested by fans, in the Push Awards. These awards are usually: Favorite Group or Tandem for Push Like, Most Loved Group or Tandem, and Best Group or Tandem, etc. Other Interesting Commonalities One interesting fact that makes James Reid and Liza Soberano similar is their native language. The two were raised taught in the English language. So when Liza was 13, she was encouraged to learn Tagalog in order for a better survival in the media world. Meanwhile, James had his own struggles with language learning. Back in 2015, James also announced how he had to practice speaking in Filipino in order to better portray a genuine character in his play. He tells ABS-CBN about this, saying: “Sa movie na ‘to, puro Tagalog. Walang English as in zero except for ‘I love you’ maybe. This movie is all Tagalog. Ito ‘yung pinakanahirapan ako but I practice a lot, Another interesting fact is that the only couple among them who have not yet joined the Metro Manila Film Festival is Lizquen. Both Kathniel and Jadine had been present to show off their films “Pagpag,” and “She’s Dating the Gangster.” Facebook Comments
