It’s going to be more than a year since the last time we witnessed power couple JaDine on the big screen in a Romantic-Drama film entitled ‘This Time.’ It was about two childhood friends and the obstacle of long distance relationships. On this latest movie “Never Not Love You,” which is still in the making ventures more on the dark side. Here are five things you should know about the latest movie starring James Reid and Nadine Lustre.

5 Things To Know About JaDine’s ‘Never Not Love You’

1. Some shooting will be done abroad. In a video uploaded by an Entertainment channel on Youtube asking James Reid about the location of the shoot, James reveals that there were indeed scenes that were shot abroad. But when prompted about where, the ‘On the Wings of Love’ actor simply gave his heart-stopping smile.

If you haven’t seen the uploaded photos of some scenes, most of it seems to be taken at a Tattoo Parlor. This is where James’ character Gio will most likely be working in since his job description according to reports, is a Graphic Designer. Not to mention that it’s the perfect job for that ‘bad boy’ persona.

2. It’s about ‘reckless love.’ It’s been reported by ABS-CBN that James Reid and Nadine Lustre gave the hint about the theme of the film. It’s about ‘reckless love,’ they say. But just what do we mean by reckless? With its negative connotation, does this mean that the ending might just be an unhappy one? Some fans seem to think so. If such is the case, it’ll surely be a refreshing movie for the couple.

3. James is a bad boy with a soft heart. In their first film ‘Diary ng Panget,’ James Reid’s character Cross was hardly a bad boy. He was just a handsome heartthrob who was a little snobbish and arrogant. But in this film, he’s the kind who’s got tattoos, wears a cigarette on his ear, probably rides a motorcycle, and owns a leather jacket somewhere there (crosses fingers). At least, that’s what the mood feels like, as per the photos uploaded.

On the Facebook page of ‘Never Not Love You,’ they also uploaded some screenshots of pages of the script. On one page, it narrates how Joanne (Nadine Lustre) confronts Gio if he’s actually courting her. From the looks of it, James will be less than talkative in this film– his show of love for Joanne will be performed through his actions. And the script writes that Gio fetches her before and after her work and during her lunch break– no exceptions, overtime or not. At least he knows actions are more convincing than words will ever be.

4. It was previously titled ‘Here’s to Fools.’ ABS-CBN also writes that ‘Never Not Love You’ is not the original title. Instead, it was ‘Here’s to Fools’– which could reveal some plot points if you think about. The title ‘Never Not Love You’ seems to be taken from a line where the couple exchanges their “I Love You’s” and Gio gives the final word saying, ‘I will never not love you.’ And if you apply math to the equation, two negatives will equal a positive. So what he’s actually saying is that he will forever love her. Which is pretty sweet.

5. Clue on Facebook posts? On the same Facebook page, we read quotes as posted by them. And while they may all be aesthetically poetically beautiful, there’s this uncanny subliminal meaning that it’s trying to portray. On one post it reads: “We love just once in our lifetime and spend the rest of our lives looking for something similar.”

It’s either that this ‘reckless love’ is that one-time true love or it’s that ‘something similar.’ Or it could also be just another random post. But for the most part, we’re all just waiting for that trailer so we’d know what we’re up against.

JaDine’s “Never Not Love You” is set to hit theaters on March 31. Director Antoinette Jadoane posted on Instagram a clip of the movie with a date captioned to it. With all the shooting days cancelled and rumors saying the movie isn’t pushing through, fans can now rest assured that the JaDine movie is a go.
