After the successful release of “Legal Wife” in 2014, writer Generiza Reyes-Francisco has earned our respect for her incredible storytelling. Even before this, her project “Got to Believe” starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo was also received warmly– if not, insanely loved– by viewers. Now on her latest Philippine Drama teleserye “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso,” we can expect a better, polished story that is sure to charm us all. 2. Robin Padilla portrays what it means to be Charismatic. Despite the thick-looking black caterpillar above Robin Padilla’s lips, his character isn’t a notorious villain or a creepy old dude. In fact, he will be playing the role of an ordinary Juan de la Cruz– funny, witty, kind and definitely loveable. It’s been a while since his last teleserye, “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw”– so this’ll be a sweet treat for his fans. 3. Martin Co played by Richard Yap faces everyone’s biggest problem on love. For those who have their own drama on love, you might relate with Martin Co– portrayed by Richard Yap. In an interview with Star Cinema, the lead actor reveals that his character Martin faces his own issues with falling in love. Apparently, he’s been broken before and is scarred by it. This inner conflict will complicate his ability to love– but deep inside he still believes in love. And it’s only a matter of when and how he does. Relate much? Might wanna think twice about seeing “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso” (wink). 4. What “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso” wants to say. Jodi Sta. Maria will be playing dual roles for the part: Mona Bulalayao and Lisa Laureano. The irony is that while they have the same facial features, they are on both ends of the social status scale– Lisa is a wealthy businesswoman and Mona is a poor bet collector. You can add in another similarity between them though– they both have a huge problem at their hands. As their worlds clash and twist, they figure out how they solve each other’s problems– using their identical features. Pretty neat plot, isn’t it? But aside from this, all aspects of life will be included. Socio-cultural truths on poverty, corruption, and gambling will be revealed. As well as the power of money– and how an inanimate piece of paper could control family relations in wealthy families. It’s got lessons on love, life, and values. 5. ABG ratings say it all.
