Before you could think that they’re officially dating– no they are not. The status of “Love You To The Stars And Back” star Joshua Caloy is still in the courting stage. But in a recent Twitter post by the Kapamilya stars, the two actually called each other ‘mine’ and ‘para sa akin lang.’
Ever since the showing of the adventure-romance film “Love You To The Stars And Back” starring Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, the young love team has thrilled even more fans. In fact, the movie inflamed their official loveteam name: Joshlia.
But really, when are the two officially going to date? And is there something going on that the fans are not seeing? Why did they just put claims on each other on social media? Are they an item now?
Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia just called each other ‘mine’
On Twitter, the “Love You To The Stars And Back” cast decided to play a little Question and Answer session with the fans, with the hashtags: #AskCaloy and #AskMika. However, fans went beyond the movie and posted questions on their idols’ personal lives.
One fan asked Julia what qualities does she like best about Joshua. Julia offered two: protective and a definite gentleman. Another fan also asked the actress just how much she loved Caloy– Joshua’s character– and she said: ‘sobra sobra.’
On the other hand, Joshua received a lot of questions about how he would feel if Julia had other suitors. Comically, the actor laughed it off with a ‘Good luck’ to whoever even tries. And when asked about how much he loved Mika– Julia’s Character– he wrote: ‘Para sakin lang si Mika.’
On another Twitter inquiry, one teaser joked that Julia’s suitor, Joshua should be hers instead. Surprisingly, the actress replied with one word followed by a period: ‘Mine.’ You can imagine all the fans swooning over her one-word answer.
Joshua also received his fair share of fans probing his feelings for her. In one question, he said that Julia was pretty much his ‘everything.’ (Cue the dramatic fainting.)
Are these two seriously implanting butterflies in our stomachs? Or are they tricking us into thinking that their answers are genuine, when instead they are solely for the characters they are playing? Well, guess we have to conclude those with a notable quote from the movie: “Minsan kailangan mo lang maniwala.”
