K-Pop Star 6 Finalist Kriesha Tiu Releases First Single, Trouble

Filipino-American singer and dancer Kriesha Tiu has just released her first single, “Trouble.” The K-Pop Star 6 finalist shares what judge Yang Hyun Suk would think about her new single and reveals her experience working with producer Yong Jun Hyung and Kim Tae Ju.

Kriesha Tiu a.k.a Crisha Choo has come a long way. Since her audition in the hit Korean TV reality show K-Pop Star 6 in December 2016, she has since impressed the judges with her talent in singing and dancing. They became more impressed when she revealed that she was actually a Filipino-American but could only speak fluent Korean. Kriesha made it to the Grand Finals and in April. News broke out about Kriesha being the first Filipino K-Pop Idol who was set to Debut in May.

Kriesha stars in her own music video, “Trouble,” released on Wednesday, May 24. The video was posted on YouTube and has gotten around 600k views. Being the first Filipino K-Pop idol to debut in Korea is such a big mile stone for this budding star.

Kriesha talks about her experience working with producer Yong Jun Hyung in a report by Soompi. This Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and actor is a member of the South Korean boy band, “Highlight.” Tiu confessed that she loves the band and has always dreamt of working with them.

Kriesha says, “I got really nervous when I met Yong Jun Hyung. Everything was going well until he stepped into the recording studio.”

In a separate report by All KPop, Kriesha talks more about her debut single and says among all the judges at K-Pop Star 6, judge Yang Hyun Suk would be the most happy. Yang Hyun Suk is the head of YG Entertainment. Kriesha even sent a message to him saying, “My first album came out, so please look forward to it”
