KathNiel on La Luna Sangre Action Scenes

In the recently released teaser of “La Luna Sangre,” Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla can be seen fighting each other in an intense hand to hand combat. They both pulled off moves which seem to have been studied and rehearsed for many months.

In a report by PEP, KathNiel spoke of their experience shooting this one-minute action-packed scene. First off, they admitted how it was very hard to do. Kathryn said she and Daniel threw up at one point because of it. She went on to say how much she realized how different it was when it came to doing an action stint. A few moves would mean a lot of rehearsals she said. Kathryn said she was very excited to see how their effort would look like on screen.

Daniel, on the other hand, said that he and Kathryn had to train in a type of Filipino martial arts called “Pekiti Tirsua Kali” to execute the action scenes well. He said that all their “moves” were “calculated.”

Daniel also talked about their look on the first teaser released saying how he had a hand on thinking about Kathryn’s costume and style particularly the hair. Kathryn revealed that they were supposed to have a look test but it didn’t push through. So everything seen on the trailer were made on the day of the shoot itself.

“La Luna Sangre” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla is rumored to air on May 29 on ABS-CBN.
