But it seems it’s coming earlier than expected. The ‘Killer Clown’ craze menacing the streets of the US, Australia, Canada, UK and even the Philippines and other parts of the world scares many people young and old. Clown sightings have been too much that people are literally scared to walk on the streets most especially in the evening. So what is this Killer Clown Craze? This ‘Killer clown craze’ is about people dressing up as clowns, scaring innocent bystanders or pedestrians by chasing them. Some go through great lengths by holding a weapon of some sort, like knives. Yes, it’s a prank. But not funny at all. According to the Guardian the “craze” started in the US and was spread throughout parts of the world through social media. Pranksters take a video of this craze in action and put it up on the internet all to have ‘a good laugh’ and earn thousands of views on YouTube. The page made a ‘teaser’ telling the Philippines that it they will be everywhere. The incident happened at around 11 p.m. Apparently, the prankster was dressed up as a clown near Quezon City Circle. Reports say the 21-year-old was trying to scare a group of four children, and the boys suddenly started to throw rocks at him. These boys were allegedly on the influence of rugby. These boys beat him and took is cellphone, wallet and GoPro. The killer clown is currently being treated in Quezon City General Hospital for minor wounds.
