Here are Kdramas airing this May Greasy Romance SBS’ new melodrama and romance series tell a story of love, survival with a focus on a star chef who fell from the top chef in the best Chinese restaurant in Korea to a tiny kitchen of a local diner down on its luck. It stars Jang Hyuk, Jung Ryeo Won, and Lee Jun Ho and will have 20 episodes starting from May 7. Rich Man The story of ‘Rich Man’ will revolve around the character of Lee Yoo-Chan (Suho) who is the CEO of IT company Next In. He founded the company and it is now the most desirable place to work for young professionals. He is arrogant and does not trust people in general. Lee Yoo-Chan also suffers from an inability to recognize faces. Ha Yeon-Soo will play the character of Kim Bo-Ra who was born in the countryside on Jeju Island. She is the pride of her family and famous in her hometown for being smart. She goes to Seoul to attend college and carries her family’s high expectations for her. During her last year in college, Kim Bo-Ra experiences difficulties finding her job. Her dream is to work at Next In. Kim Bo-Ra meets Lee Yoo-Chan and their lives change. ‘Rich Man’ will be occupying the time slot of ‘High-End Crush’ at MBN every Wednesday and Thursday at 23:00. It will have a total of 16 episodes. Lawless Lawyer ‘Lawless Lawyer’ will revolve around the story of Bong Sang-Pil who is a former gang member, but now works as a lawyer. He has one of the top win rates as a lawyer. Bong Sang-Pil will take advantage of loopholes in the law. He stands before the court for his mother’s revenge, opposing absolute power. It stars Lee Joon Gi and Seo Ye Ji. It starts May 12 and will have 16 episodes. Secret Mother Starting on May 12, SBS’ ‘Secret Mother’ will tell the story of a surrogate mother who enters the home of the woman holding the secret to her child’s death. A young girl named Hye-Na (Heo Yool) is abused by her mother Ja-Young (Ko Sung-Hee). Although she is not okay, she tells other people she is alright. Soo-Jin (Lee Bo-Young) is a temporary teacher at the elementary school where Hye-Na attends. Soo-Jin is aware of her situation and decides to become her mother. Investigation Couple This crime-mystery drama will tell the story of Baek Beom (Jung Jae-Young) who has worked as a forensic doctor for 10 years. He has a bad personality, but he is excellent at his work. Eun Sol (Jung Yoo-Mi) is a rookie prosecutor with a warm heart. She has a bright personality and she comes from wealthy family background. The forensic doctor and prosecutor work together to solve the case. It airs May 14 on MBC. Come and Hug Me ‘Come and Hug Me’ will bring us mixtures of melodrama, romance, and mystery starring this May 16 in MBC. Here’s the synopsis: ‘A man (Chang Ki-Yong) and a woman (Jin Ki-Joo) suffers from wounded hearts due to a murder case that took place in their past. The man is a detective and the woman is a popular actress.’ Miss Hammurabi JTBC’s ‘Ms. Hammurabi’ is a legal drama which will introduce us to the world and struggles of Park Cha O Reum who works as a rookie judge. She is in her mid-20’s and follows “an eye for an eye” principle. She does not accept prejudice or blindly follows authority. Dealing with cases, she and her colleagues, including Im Ba-Reun, grow as persons. “Ms. Hammurabi” takes over the time slot previously occupied by “Welcome to Waikiki” and followed by “Life” starting May 21. Sketch Another JTBC’s offer to Kdramas fans this May is an action series called ‘Sketch.’ The series will tell us about Detective Kang Dong-Soo’s (Rain) fiance being killed mysteriously. He works with a female detective (Lee Sun-Bin) who can see 3 days into the future. She sketches what she sees. They set out to capture the murderer. Kim Do-Jin (Lee Dong-Gun) is a former special forces member. His pregnant wife was killed and he plots revenge. It will hit the airwaves May 25. Handsome guy and Jung-eum Hoon-Nam (Namgung Min) knows about love theoretically, but he rejects falling in love. Jung-Eum (Hwang Jung-Eum) wants to fall in love, but, due to her difficult situation, she gives up on finding love. Hoon-Nam and Jung-Eum meet and develop a relationship romantically. This romance-comedy will be aired on SBS Network. Parting Left This romance-melodrama series will be aired on MBC. It tells the story of Young-Hee (Chae Shi-Ra) who lives alone in an apartment. She has separated from her pilot husband Sang-Jin (Lee Sung-Jae) because he had an affair.Meanwhile, Jung-Hyo is pregnant, but her boyfriend wants her to have an abortion. Jung-Hyo goes to Young-Hee’s apartment and tells her she will stay there until she gives birth. Young-Hee is her boyfriend’s mother.Living together, Young-Hee and Jung-Hyo fight with each other but also come to understand each other. About Time It’s a story about Choi Michaela (Lee Sung-Kyung), a musical actress. She has a special ability to see the lifespan clocks of other people.
