KPop Rock Band CNBLUE To Play In Manila On Dec. 9

The KPop invasion of the Philippines continues. This time, it is KPop rock band CNBLUE performing live in Manila on Dec. 9. Fans can catch the band at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum, according to local promoter IME Philippines.

CNBLUE, which was recently awarded Best KPop Band at the Golden Disc Awards 2017, is promoting its 7th mini-album ‘7oCN,’ with its carrier single, ‘Between Us.’ The tour date in the Philippines is part of the band’s Asia Tour.

CNBLUE In Special Video Message To Filipino Fans: ‘Mahal Namin Kayo!’

In a special video message shared on IME Philippines Facebook page, band members Jung Yong-hwa, Lee Jong-hyun, Kang Min-hyuk and Lee Jung-shin called their Filipino fans to show their support for their concert. They also shared that they have “put in so much effort” in preparing for the concert. Finally, in an endearing move, they express their love for their fans, in Filipino.

According to the Manila Bulletin, the band’s recently released album has topped digital sales in Asia, especially on iTunes.

How To Get Tickets And Ticket Prices

As the concert draws near, fans can get their tickets online or through TicketNet outlets all over the country. According to a Facebook post by IME Philippines, the following tickets are available: VIP P12,500, Cat 1 P9,500, Cat 2 P7,500, Cat 3 P5,500, and General Admission P2,500. VIP Packages include a Sound Check Party with the band and 2 CNBLUE merchandise items, thus are only limited to 300 ticket holders.

CNBLUE members have also been trying their hand in different areas such as acting. For example, Jung Yung-hwa was part of the cast of ‘The Package,’ a KDrama that was recently aired in Korea. Another member, Kang Ming-hyuk also joined ‘Hospital Ship’ which is a 40-episode drama. Despite this however, the members still make the band and making good music their first priority.
