Kris Aquino Signs With Star Cinema, Stars In New JoshLia Movie

Kris Aquino, Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia

Kris Aquino is officially with ABS-CBN Films, Star Cinema. The Queen of all media signed her contract on Friday, April 20. It was also revealed that she will be in Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto’s new movie called, “I Love You, Hater,” which will be directed by Giselle Andres.

Kris Aquino took a break from media for a while. But in 2016, she made the headlines when she was about to interview President Rodrigo Duterte via TV5. Unfortunately, the President wasn’t able to make it. In March 2017, she announced her big comeback on TV through a travel show called “Trip Ni Kris.” The show aired on GMA in April 2017. On the same month, she shared the big news via her Instagram that she inked a contract with a big Hollywood project which was rumored to be a movie called “The Crazy Rich Asians.” Just recently, Kris signed with Cornerstone Entertainment. This is the same agency that manages artists like Sam Milby, KZ Tandingan, Yeng Constantino and Rachelle Ann Go.

In another photo, Kris can be seen posing in a photo alongside ABS-CBN Films Managing Director Olive Lamasan, Cornerstone Head Erickson Raymundo, and Star Cinema executives.

The next photos posted by Star Cinema were images of Kris with love team JoshLia. Together with Kris Aquino’s contract signing was the announcement that she will be joining Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto in a movie called, “I Love You, Hater.”

Not much has been revealed about the movie but the Kris Aquino and JoshLia chemistry is indeed something to look forward to.
