Kylie Verzosa Does Her Own Make Up In Photo Shoot

Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa appeared on the cover of a local health magazine last December and the one thing she remembers about it is that she had to do her own hair and make up for the photo shoot. The photo shoot was scheduled on a very busy day for Kylie that she does not even remember what other things she was doing that day.

Busy But Fun Day

In an Instagram post on Monday, the title holder shared a photo of the cover of Shape magazine. She also captioned the photo with: “I did my own hair and makeup for the shoot. I did not know that I was going to be on the cover, I just came from a long day of errands preparing for Miss International, walking along EDSA. (I don’t know what I was doing either).”

She also added that despite the fact that she was caught somewhat unprepared, the photo shoot “went well” and she had fun working with the team. Lastly, she noted this experience goes to show that “the best things in life are the ones that are unexpected.”

Busy Schedule As Miss International

Kylie was crowned Miss International in October 2016, and the photo shoot was scheduled after she came back to the Philippines from Japan. Since then, Kylie has been busy with her commitments as Miss International.

She has taken up an advocacy something that is close to her heart – that of mental health. In earlier reports, she had admitted to have suffered from depression and that she was able to overcome it because of the support of family and friends.

In December, she was also recognized as one of the 2016 People of Year awardees by People Asia magazine. She joined other personalities from business, entertainment, media and politics which included Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte, Ces Oreña-Drilon, Christopher de Leon and John Lloyd Cruz.
