She sang “Furious 7” hit by Charlie Puth, “See You Again.” The song’s version is in Mandarin as well as the rap verse. As the crowd favorite, Tandingan will go back in the “Breakout” episode as a wildcard contestant. If successful, Tandingan will be back on the show as a top seven contender in the finals. The prize for winning the show is not yet announced. But Tandingan said that she considers reaching the Chinese audience a “priceless” accomplishment. KZ Tandingan gaining a Chinese following Philippines’ “Soul Supreme” has garnered a following in China after five episodes. On her last episode, she was second-most talked about topics in Chinese social media after her performance and elimination. A few weeks ago, Chinese fans spotted Tandingan in Changsha Mall and asked for pictures from the singer. As she returned to the “Singer 2018” stage, Tandingan sang a Mandarin-translated version of “See You Again.” A Charlie Puth original, the song was the OST for “Furious 7.” Could this song be a hint for more things that Tandingan will do in the show? On the March 16 episode, the show told Tandingan that she will be back According to Cornerstone Entertainment, as seen in the screenshot below, Tandingan will be back on the show on April 6. The episode called “Breakout” will be a wildcard round. This means that the past contestants of the show, including Tandingan, will have a chance to be part of the regular contestants again. From the four eliminated contestants, only three will be part of the final seven contestants. As of press writing, it is still not definite which among the past contestants are up for the wildcard round. “Singer 2018” will air its final episode on April 13. Artists supporting other artists Award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose posted a video of Tandingan singing “Royals” on her Instagram account. She wrote, “My Queen! I am a huge fan! I have a very strong feeling you are coming back and win!!!” Meanwhile, Journey frontman Arnel Pineda tweeted Tandingan in response to her heart-breaking tweet from elimination last week.
