On ABS-CBN’s La Luna Sangre Feb 21, titled Apocalypse Defies, viewers were biting their nails with the events that transpired. The events begin with Tristan finding out from Lucho what he needs to do to end Sandrino once and for all. He needs to kill his heart again. Apparently, he isn’t as strong as he once was when his heart started beating again. Malia quickly shuts down the plan when she finds out. She tells Tristan that she is determined to find another way. Like him when he found out that she wants to travel back in time, she doesn’t want to lose him.

In the dark side, newly elected President Osmundo goes against Supremo’s plan. He isn’t one of Sandrino’s lackeys anymore since they did not hold up their end of the deal and his child died. Knowing Supremo’s dark ways and quick thinking, he injures Osmundo. This makes the vice president in charge. With Supremo’s power, of course, the vice president is under him.

Speaking of politics and Sandrino, he is sworn into office as a secretary. He might not be president, but has won the people’s heart, has the vice president in his hands, and has new power nothing can compare to. Using the vice president’s power, he instructs him to free some prisoners from jail. Thinking they’d have a new life, the prisoners gladly follow the guards. But they were brought to Supremo’s lair, hypnotized and made into puppets. Supremo wants to turn as many people into vampires as possible, as his original plan says.

With pain and anger in his heart, Professor T still plans to rid the world of vampires and werewolves. He creates a poison that will exterminate the monsters and keep the humans safe. He plans to launch it on the night of the Giant Moon when all vampires and werewolves are at their peak.

Will Tristan sacrifice his heart?

Two episodes ago, it was expected that Malia would go rogue and time travel to stop Sandrino. But it looks like her love would be the one to defy their promise. With Tristan’s current pure and beating heart, he thinks it is the only way to save everyone. Will he sacrifice his heart for everyone he loves?
