According to an ABS-CBN report, she told the press that the singing competition will start production in late March. “The Voice Teens” will be part of ABS-CBN’s roster of shows in early 2017.
Aside from her, she revealed that the megastar Sharon Cuneta will be taking one of the red chairs as well. She also said that Pinoy rock singer Bamboo will be back. As for the fourth mentor, she cited that she had an idea who it was. She however could not say who it was. She added, “There will be four of us and we all decided just to have a good time.”
How About Sarah Geronimo?
Sarah Geronimo, who served as a coach in a previous season of “The Voice Kids,” was earlier reported to come back as a coach. When pressed about this, Salonga said she did not anything about it.
She also mentioned that ABS-CBN has yet to make an official announcement about the fourth judge.
Busy With Other Projects
Before her return to TV however, Salonga will be busy with other projects such as a round of shows in Australia. She will also have a post-Valentine’s concert called “Songs from the Stage” on February 17 and 18 at the PICC.
In related news, Salonga received an award for being one of the Women of Excellence recently.
