The Hallyu star’s agency, MYM Entertainment already made an official statement, giving details on the actor’s enlistment. Lee Min Ho as a Social Worker in Gangnam Lee Min Ho will not immediately serve the military boot camp. Officials assigned the actor as a social worker in Gangnam District Office in Seoul. His assignment was due to several injuries he incurred in the past. In 2006, Lee Min Ho was in a car accident with fellow actor Jung Il Woo, sustaining serious leg injuries. His thigh and ankles were fractured, with his knee cartilage torn. His injuries were very severe he had to lie down in hospital bed for a year. Lee Min Ho met another car mishap in, during the shooting for his drama “City Hunter” in 2011. So instead of serving in the armed forces, The Military Manpower Administration that handles the enlistment exempted Lee Min Ho from active combat duty. In less than 4 weeks the Korean heartthrob will soon perform civilian service.
