More than 15 days from now, Legoland Japan in Nagoya will open its doors to the public. Ahead of their grand opening, the theme park has revealed food choices that are in store for its patrons on April 1.
Through its website, the park shared photos of its upcoming menu via the Legoland website. This includes Lego fries, fries shaped like Lego blocks, as well as very colorful Abominable Slushes.
Legoland Japan Nagoya: Food You Can Play With
The theme park’s food choices bring a whole new dimension to amusement park food. Rocket News described it as food you may want to play with rather than eat. While the photos make the food look enticing, opening day will be the ultimate taste test.
According to the report, there will be five restaurants and eight food stalls that will service the park. Located within seven distinct and themed areas, each outlet serves its own specialty food.
Legoland Japan Nagoya: From Lego Fries, Pizza, Sandwiches To Full Meals
Legoland Japan will serve up snacks to satisfy each type of craving. Lego Fries will be offered at the Oasis Snacks food stand, while sandwiches, hotdogs and burgers will be offered by Factory Sandwich Co., Marina Snack Shack and Brick House Burgers respectively.
A pizza and pasta buffet will satisfy one’s Italian craving, while the Knight’s Table Restaurant will have full meals available.
And what is a theme park without sweet snacks? Abominable Slushes allows customers to make their own slushes, while Ice Factory offers ice cream. The PINO Cart will have Choc Ices sold in giant Lego bricks.
Legoland Nagoya Is Japan’s First Outdoor Legoland Park
Japan is home to two indoor Legoland sites, Legoland Tokyo Discovery Center and Legoland Osaka Discovery Center. Nagoya will be the first outdoor Legoland park in the country.
It is located in Minato Ward’s wharf area, with a total area of 9.3 hectares. According to a Japan Times report, it will feature over 40 attractions including a 2.1-meter high Nagoya Castle replica. Annual passes are currently on sale through the Legoland Japan website.
