Liam Gallagher Set To Perform In Manila On August 14

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher will be performing in Manila for the first time on August 14. He is all set to thrill Filipino fans at the SM Mall of Asia Arena at 8 p.m.

Oasis is a British rock band that gained popularity in the 199os has never set foot in the Philippines before. According to a GMA report, their 2002 concert never pushed through due to security concerns. For most fans of the band which disbanded in 2009, Liam’s concert will definitely be a treat.

The concert organized by Ovation Productions will have tickets available through SM Ticket outlets and via SM Tickets online. According to their Facebook post, ticket prices are PhP 8,700 for VIP, PhP 7,700 for Patron, PhP 5,700 for Lower Box A, PhP 4,700 for Lower Box B, PhP 3,700 for Upper Box and PhP 1,700 for General Admission.

Liam recently released his first single Wall Of Glass, which is part of his first ever solo album. Although the album called As You Were has yet to get an official release, the single has been getting rave reviews so far. Critics are eagerly waiting for the rest of his songs in his new album.

Manchester Native Makes Surprise Appearance In One Love Manchester

Liam also made music headlines last Monday when he appeared unannounced at the One Love Manchester concert organized by Ariana Grande. He also set aside his disagreements with another British band, Coldplay and performed Live Forever with Chris Martin.

The Manchester native, according to a report on NME, also changed his mind about what he initially thought of the band. After performing with them, he said that they sounded “pretty good” and that he takes back everything he has ever said about them. According to another NME report, Liam once called Chris Martin a “geography teacher” and also criticized the band’s appearance.
