People cannot get over the adorable little boy who appeared on ABS-CBN’s newest fantasy series La Luna Sangre. Everybody knows him as Little Tristan, the new found friend of Little Malia. Who is this boy and why has he stolen the hearts of many? Here are some of the reasons why we think James Quilantang a.k.a Tristan is now everyone’s new favorite.

La Luna Sangre premiered on Monday, June 19. The series stars Angel Locsin, John Lloyd Cruz, Daniel Padilla, and Kathryn Bernardo. Although KathNiel’s characters are still building up, Little Tristan and Little Malia steal the spotlight for the first few episodes even from renowned actors Angel and John Lloyd. La Luna Sangre has been trending on Twitter since its first episode. And Little Tristan, well, his photos are starting to flood Twitter feeds.

Little Tristan was first seen catching a spider in a field somewhere. The moment he opened his eyes and smiled, it melted people’s hearts. This is one of the reasons why people fell in love with this boy. His smile is just captivating that fans refer to him as just so cute. His facial expressions basically are what makes people swoon.

This charming young one has pushed cuteness level up a notch when he started rapping about the little spider he caught in the field. It even went trending on Twitter.

The kid has serious acting skills and he’s getting more attention because of it. This is another reason why Little Tristan is the newest fav. From being really happy to really sad, he can pull it off like he was years older. We bet you teared up a bit when he gave his father the cane that he bought with his own money. Yes, that moment. A comment on Twitter says he is an example of a small role but with great impact. Some say he is the perfect kid to play Daniel Padilla’s younger self.

So who is this kid? His name is Justin James Quilantang. Not much can be read about him but looking at his Facebook account, one would know that he is, in fact, an adorable dancer. He seemed to audition for “Goin Bulilit” as seen on his Facebook post.

Catch James Quilantang as Little Tristan on La Luna Sangre which airs Mondays to Fridays. He will also be on Maalaala Mo Kaya episode on Saturday, June 24.
