POPCORN TIME LIVE BLOG: Pinoy Big Brother Season 7 Big Night a.k.a. PBB Lucky 7 happens tonight on ABS-CBN after Maalaala Mo Kaya. This is the longest ever duration of a PBB season. Who among Maymay, Edward, Tanner Cora, Kisses, Yong, McCoy and Nikko would be the next big winner of Kuya’s real-life teleserye? (Follow this link for the PBB Grand Finale March 5 live blog.)

FINAL UPDATE: The bottom three winners of PBB Lucky Season 7 are Cora (7th), Nikko and McCoy (6th), and Tanner (5th). All of them got above five to almost six percent of the total votes cast. On PBB March 5 Big Night, the grand winners will be announced. Kisses, Maymay, Yong and Edward are still in the running to becoming the grand PBB Lucky 7 winner.

How To Vote In PBB Lucky Season 7

Fans who want to vote for their favorite housemate may text BB [space] [name] and send to 2366. This applies to all networks. On Twitter, reactions are flooding with the trending hashtag #PBBTheBigNight. For the names, fans may text Maymay, Edward, Tanner, Cora, Kisses, Yong, or Hashtags for the tandem of McCoy and Nikko.

11:09 p.m. Tanner is the 5th Lucky Big placer. His twin brother Tyler thanks the fans for voting. Tanner got 5.93 percent of the votes. He also gets P100,00. A recap of the voting results: 5.10 percent for Cora, 5.22 percent for Nikko and McCoy, and 5.93 percent for Tanner. Kisses, Edward, Maymay and Yong remain in the Big Brother house. They will be vying for public votes once again. The first part of the PBB Lucky Season 7 Big Night ends shortly before 11: 15 p.m.

10:54 p.m. Host Toni Gonzaga is set to announce the 6th Lucky Big placer. And it’s the Hashtags tandem –Nikko and McCoy. Boy Tatag ng Tondo and Boy Sipag of Bulacan come out to a cheering audience that includes Elisse and Nikko’s baby Aiden. The tandem gets P100,00. Both the 6th and 7th placers got a little over five percent in votes.

10:46 p.m. Announcement time begins. The 7th Lucky Big winner gets P100,000. Daniel Matsunaga and Miho Nishida are presenters of this award, together with Direk Lauren Dyogi. Direk announces the 7th placer. It’s Cora! Cora’s parents are given a chance to thank the voters. Soon enough, the dazzling daughter of Bulacan, Cora Waddell, makes her grand entrance.

10: 24 p.m. There is only one minute left to vote. Soon enough, that minute was gone. Who won? The waiting game escalates. In a tribute to the housemates, the kids of Your Face Sounds Familiar 2017 impersonate the Lucky 7. Xia Vigor, Lyca Gairanod, AC Bonifacio, Alonzo Muhlach, Sam Shoaf, Awra Briguela, Justin Alva and Elha Nympha join in the fun.

During this tribute, the arena got wild when Tanner’s twin brother Tyler shows up in the footage. Direk Rory Quinto also appears in the nostalgic footage. The audience are taken back to the moment when Edward reveals his acting chops. And Direk Rory was impressed.

10:07 p.m. After the live show’s first commercial break, Kuya leaves a message to each of the housemates. The grand finalists are seen in a virtual reality confession room. Lookin’ good! Kudos, PBB crew! For Cora, Kuya says she has gradually softened her housemates’ hearts about her. For Edward, Kuya lauds his efforts at showing wisdom beyond his years. For Kisses, Kuya is impressed by her determination despite getting hurt. For Maymay, Kuya reminds her to never underestimate herself.

For 2-in-1 housemates McCoy and Nikko, Kuya praises them for following their hearts. McCoy has quit a challenge to be with Elisse, while Nikko has proudly presented his child to the world. For Tanner, Kuya says the last stretch of PBB Lucky Season 7 really tested his character. However, Tanner he has proven himself to be worthy of winning the real-life teleserye. For Yong, Kuya praised him for his courage and family values.

Towards the end of his spiel, Kuya motivates the Lucky 7 Dream Team housemates to always have hope and love in their hearts.

09:57 p.m. PBB co-hosts Bianca Gonzales and Robi Domingo give an update on the real-time voting standing. Two unnamed housemates are neck and neck in the lead. There are only twenty-four minutes left to vote.

09:43 p.m. PBB host Toni Gonzaga welcomes the audience at the Alonte Sports Arena in Biñan, Laguna. Over six thousand people can fit in this venue.

09:48 p.m. Daniel Matsunaga and Alex Gonzaga are the first celebrities to thrill the live audience. The Lucky 7 housemates arrive in a float, as the Pinoy Big Brother anthem is heard across the stadium.

09:46 p.m. PBB Lucky Season 7 credits roll. The live finale event is set to begin in no time at all.

Big Brother is teasing its use of a new technology on television. (Update: It’s pretty cool!) Fans could barely wait. About half an hour before the live show kicks off, PBB started posting photos of the teen housemates’ families. Here are photos of Tanner’s twin brother Tyler and their dad, plus Maymay’s grandma and mother.
