LJ Reyes: Paulo Avelino Can Still Be Dad To Aki, When He Is Not ‘Busy’

Young actress LJ Reyes said that Paulo Avelino, who is the father of her son Aki, can still play his role as Daddy to their son. She denied reports that her fiancee, Paolo Contis has already taken Paulo’s place as Aki’s father. LJ and Paulo were in a relationship which ended in a break-up in 2013. Aki was already three years old during that time.

Paulo’s Busy Schedule May Be Stopping Him

The actress noted however that Paulo has been “busy” lately, but still said that he is welcome to take part in Aki’s life if he wants to. In some reports, LJ said that no one is “replacing” the role just yet. According to reports, she spent the holidays with her son and her fiancee in New York, where her mother currently resides.

When asked whether Aki is also asking for his dad, LJ said that he knows his father and recognizes him on TV. He also asks about his father, she said.

LJ On Wedding With Paolo And New Drama Series

During the interview, LJ also entertained questions about her wedding and her upcoming drama series on television. She is getting married to Paolo soon and according to her, wedding arrangements are still ongoing.

Aside from her wedding, she is also excited about her upcoming drama series on GMA-7. Under the direction of Gina Alajar, “Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa” is a television remake of the movie of the same title. LJ is joined by Julia Anne San Jose, who plays her on-screen rival in the show. LJ will be paired with Martin del Rosario, while Julie Anne will be Benjamin Alves,

LJ will play the role of Angeli, who is out to make Santina’s (Julie Anne) life miserable. The series will premiere on GMA-7 on January 30, during afternoon primetime.
