Are you done with the list of things to do and places to visit on your long weekends? If not, today is the best time to start as we provide you tips on how to set the perfect long weekend escapade.
Tips for the perfect long weekend getaway
Book ahead of time. It’s better to be sure than to have no place to stay in. Calling the hotel or place your going to stay in ahead of time gives you peace of mind. Have no more worries in hearing the phrase “Sorry, we’re fully booked.” Try to book your accommodation at least a week or two before the long weekend.
Pack Pack Pack, Cook Cook Cook. You really have to be strategic in packing your things. Bring what you need so you can avoid extra luggage. Sunscreen and a pair of sunglasses are also important. Avoid the heat by also bringing a fan and a refillable water bottle.
Packing your food is very helpful as well, especially when you are on a budget. It’s not only healthier to cook your food but also makes you save a buck, and now you even have extra money to buy your nephew or your auntie a souvenir. It’s not only having the perfect long weekend but also spending money reasonably.
Invite People. The more the merrier. Having to spend the weekend with someone is okay but having to spend it with a lot is a party! Having companions on your trip may also make the expenses a bit lighter since everyone would contribute. You may also acquire group packages and discounts for your activities and or restaurants that offer group dinners or brunches.
Lastly, Just have fun, take pictures and just enjoy that view, because sooner or later you’d be in the office or school by Monday.
“Sometimes you just have to take a moment to relax, breathe, find a beautiful spot and not think.”
From our family to yours, Happy Long Weekend! Thank you for dropping by!
