Share on Facebook Share on Twitter One of the best things about winter is the chic and fashionable outfits you can wear. Unfortunately, the Philippines doesn’t have a winter season. The closest thing we have are the rainy days. But that doesn’t mean you can’t dress up and look cute in the rain. These 5 things will, no doubt, make you boys and girls the bell of the ball when a crowd is all mushed together waiting for a ride. 1. Boots Getting water in your shoes is one of the most irritating and uncomfortable feelings in the world. That’s why they invented boots. Protect your feet from the cold water and the bacteria it holds with a pair of boots. There is now a vast array of boots you can choose from. From high-heeled ankle boots to flat thigh-length boots, you never have to worry about looking like a wet dork. 2. Sweaters Rainy weather means sweater weather. Stay warm with, like boots, a wide variety of sweater. Oversized, cropped, knitted, cotton. V-neck, round neck, turtleneck. Plus, if you don’t like what you’re wearing. You can just take it off and change. 3. Jackets Nothing looks cuter than layers. And when sweaters just aren’t enough, jackets save the day. Mix and match with wool, cotton, denim, or leather. Photo by Marcus P. (Unsplash) Photo by Toa Heftiba (Unsplash) One other cool thing about jackets is that you don’t have to layer it with a sweater. You can wear it with a tank top or just a blouse under but still look cool. A hoodie can serve as a hat and a jacket, too. No need to worry about layering now. 4. Scarves Sometimes, jackets and sweaters aren’t enough to hide from the cold. Thank God for scarves. You can keep every inch of your body warm and dry. Plus, you can hide your double chin with the right scarf. Photo by freestocks.org (Unsplash) Photo by Alex Iby (Unsplash) 5. Beanies If you’re one of the many who thinks umbrellas mess up your look, then beanies are perfect for you. Stay warm, keep dry, and look cool with one. If beanies aren’t your style, there are a ton of other cute hats and headgear around. Photo by Spencer Backman (Unsplash) Photo by WillSpiritSBLN (Unsplash) Facebook Comments
