Maalaala Mo Kaya June 10: McCoy de Leon And Elisse Joson Star In Poser

The episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya  June 10 stars McCoy de Leon (Josh) and Elisse Joson (Rose) in a story about the insecurities with weight and the related standards of the society regarding this. The episode is sure to inspire its audiences to focus on what beauty really means and the liberation that comes with self-acceptance and contentment. Raz Dela Torre is the director of the episode written by Jaymar Santos Castro. Other cast members include Ara Mina, Axel Torres, Igiboy Flores, Patrick Sugui, Vin Abrenica, Ysabel Ortega and Alvin Anson.

McCoy de Leon is an actor, model, and dancer who is part of the group #Hashtag. He joined Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 and was the 6th Lucky big placer. Elisse Joson, on the other hand, is one of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic artists and was a fellow housemate in PBB’s Lucky season 7. She appeared in the KathNiel movie “She’s Dating A Gangster” in 2014. Her biggest break was during the McDonald’s Philippines TV ad in 2016. She and McCoy are on-screen partners and rumor has it McCoy is indeed courting Elisse. They both appear in the primetime series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”

Elisse plays the role of Rose, a 21-year-old overweight woman with a dark complexion. She battles insecurity day in and out while growing up and has not been able to make friends normally. Heartache is something she finds herself constantly feeling. This changes when she and her friend get a crazy idea to make a fake Facebook account using her beautiful cousin’s picture.
