TV favorites Erich Gonzales and Geoff Eigenmann star in the story. Erich is the smart and beautiful 17-year-old Vin-zl who falls in love with Ray (Geoff) who she meets in college. When Vin-zl gets pregnant, she drops out of school to take care of her child. (Click here to read the full recap of MMK March 11.) MMKSchoolGirls: Never say Never Although Vin-zl’s family lives a hard life, she always excelled in school with dreams of elevating her family’s status. When her 18-year-old sister gets pregnant, Vin-zl witnesses how difficult it is for her sister to drop out of school to attend to her child. Vin-zl swears that this will never happen to her. But, lo and behold, she experienced the same fate when she got pregnant. Red, in turn, supports her and their daughter, Vianca. Frustrations Become Motivations Being a mother goes beyond a woman’s age, it is a choice and an embraced state of mind and heart. Vin-zl learns the ropes of motherhood and it is not easy. In time, she appreciates it more than she expected but reality seeps in as she sees how her other friends are finishing college and beginning their ventures in life. She starts to feel envious but this only spurs her to press on with her dreams and finish college. Her father helps her go back to school but since no one can take care of Vianca, Vin-zl brings her daughter to school everyday. Despite the difficulty, Vin-zl is a consistent dean’s lister.
