Maine Mendoza Receives ‘Priceless’ Gift From Chris Martin

Maine Mendoza just got the best gift ever. Maine posted on Instagram showing a photo of Coldplay’s lead vocalist, Chris Martin, a button pin that says love and a note addressed to Main Mendoza signed by Chris himself. Since its posting just hours ago, it has had 63,000 liked and around 2,000 comments.

Coldplay Fan Maine Mendoza On Chris Martin’s Gift, ‘Priceless’

Maine Mendoza is a known fan of the British rock band. Coldplay is set to have a concert in the Philippines this year, but Maine went on and watched the concert ahead of everyone in August last year in the US. Maine was quite emotional as seen in an Instagram post posted by Maine’s hair stylist Celese Tuviera, crying as Coldplay was singing their hit song “Yellow.”

In Maine’s Instagram post, she expressed what she felt exactly in a lengthy caption. She said, “Okay, this has got to be on of the most PRECIOUS gifts I have ever received in my entire life. No biggie, just a fan message and a love button from Chris Martin. OH MY GOOOOOOD!!!”

Maine went on to say how she got the gifts explaining that her friend, Ms Mel, got them for her when singer Chris Martin flew with them at Etihad. Mel asked Chris if he could write a message for Maine, a super fan. The British singer immediately approved and wrote on the airline’s dining menu. In Maine’s post, she said Chris gave Mel the button pin he usually wears voluntarily through a flight attendant who was also Mel’s friend and specifically asked her to hand it to Maine.

With much joy, Maine said, “I have never felt this special. Chris Martin might not know me at all but damn this is definitely #fangirlinggoals. I am so so so happy!” Maine added Chris also had a video greet from the singer. Maine closed with thanking  Mel and said, “This is priceless.”

Okay, this has got to be one of the most PRECIOUS gifts I have ever received in my entire life. Uhm no biggie, just a fan message and a love button from Chris Martin. OH MY GOOOOOOD!!!!! A friend, Ms. Mel, got them for me when Chris flew with them at Etihad. She asked Chris if he could write a simple message to one of his biggest Filipino fans– me! He willingly granted the request; he immediately grabbed the airline's dining menu and wrote his short message in it (fun fact: he sat in the same seat as me when I flew to Morrocco) I was also told that Chris voluntarily gave the love button– that he wears all the time– to the flight attendant (Ms. Mel's friend) and asked her to hand it to ME. Grabe hindi ko keri, I have never felt this special. Lol! Chris Martin might not know me at all but daaamn this is definitely #fangirlinggoals. Oh and I also got a video greet from him! Pero ito nalang ang ishshare ko. Tee hee! Anyway, I am so so so so soooo happy! Thank you very much Ms. Mel for this wondeeeerful surprise! This is priceless! ???
