Mark Herras On Viral Video Scandal, ‘Leave Wynwyn Marquez Out Of It’

Kapuso actor Mark Herras spoke about his supposed video scandal from 12 years ago. Herras says he is clueless about how the video resurfaced and still doesn’t have any idea regarding the motive of the perpetrator who uploaded it. To this Mark asks to keep his girlfriend TeresitaWynwyn Marquez out of the whole issue. 

It was in 2006 when the video scandal first leaked on the internet. It shows a man, which looks like Herras, having an intimate conversation and showing his privates with another man through webcam chat. Herras rebuffed the issue saying that he couldn’t be the man on the video because he has a beard and mustache when the video was taken while the man on the video doesn’t, as reported by GMA network.

Herras: Leave WynWyn away from the issue

A report by PEP says that during a media conference of the new prime-time series of GMA-7 where Herras will be starring, he said that he’s already moved on about the controversy and he’s more concerned about his girlfriend, Reina Hispanoamericana 2017, Teresita Sen “Wynwyn” Marquez. However, he said that he’s assured WynWyn that he’ll do everything for her to be kept out the issue.

Herras said that Marquez is the one really affected about the issue as netizens are tagging her on the video and photo screenshots. He also asked netizens to stop dragging Marquez on the issue.

“Siguro, just respect Wyn na lang, kumbaga huwag na lang idamay si Wyn sa issue. Maraming nagta-tag sa kanya, eh. Si Wyn yung pinakanaiirita, naapektuhan. Siguro, huwag na lang nila kumbaga… I’m sure hindi nila ako ni-respect nung nilabas nila yung video, so sana si Wyn, huwag na nilang idamay,” he said.

When asked about how Marquez reacted on the video, he answered, ‘“Wala. Siyempre naapektuhan siya. So, sinasabi ko na lang na parang huwag siya mag-alala, I will do everything para hindi siya madamay.’

Herras also said that the resurfacing won’t break him and his girlfriend apart.

‘Kung yun ang plano nila, ang babaw naman para masira nila kami ni Wyn. Buti kung parang nanliligaw pa lang ako. E, two years na kami. I don’t think ‘yan yung motive, nonsense na pag-iisip na ‘yan.’

He also said that he will never entertain the issue as it is nonsense and happened 12 years ago already.

In a separate interview, Manager to Herras Manay Lolit Solis talked about the issue of her talent. She said that knowing Herras’ naughtiness, it is not impossible. ‘Naku, knowing kapilyuhan ni Mark Herras puwede! Pero di pa rin ako sure. Itanong ko sa kanya kung true or false,’ she told PEP.
