In a recent interview with The Source on CNN Philippines, Miss Colombia said that her most favorite part of the pageant was the parade in the Summer Capital of the Philippines. ‘Beautiful’ Baguio Tovar was interviewed by host Pinky Webb, where she was accompanied by her translator Raul Gonzalez. When asked what her favorite part of her trip here in the Philippines, she quickly answered Baguio. Answering in English, she said, “The parade of Baguio. I love Baguio.” Shifting to Spanish, she also added that she has to go back to Baguio. Webb then asked her what about Baguio did she love so much. She explained that what she loved the most was the parade. She described the parade as “so beautiful.” She loved “the energy, the acceptance, the service and the climate.” Andrea Tovar Wants To Come Back When asked about when she plans to come back to the Philippines and to Baguio, she said she will know after she goes home to Colombia. She also requested for a “formal invitation” from the Philippines. “Invita me” she said in Spanish, which means “Invite me.” Tovar joined the group of contestants who participated in the Baguio leg. The beauties were treated to a floral parade of their own, after being received and escorted by officials and cadets of the Philippine Military Academy. Aside from the parade, they also took part in a special meet and greet with golfers and a special reception dinner. She Loves Mangoes, Halo-Halo and A Local Fastfood Chain It sounds like Tovar has also grown to love Filipino food as well. She mentioned mangoes several times, saying “I love the mangoes, the Philippine mangoes. Delicioso.” Another Filipino dessert that she said she enjoyed was “halo-halo” which she described as “sweet, but very good.” Jollibee was also mentioned in passing but she did not elaborate what particular dish she loved.
