Miss Universe 2016: Pia Wurtzbach, Venus Raj, Bretman Rock And Other Updates

Miss Universe 201o fourth runner-up Venus Raj and social media personality Bretman Rock will host a red carpet special for Miss Universe 2016 on January 30. Rock will be the main host of the special, while Raj will serve as special digital correspondent, according to the Miss Universe website.

The announcement describes Bretman Rock as a social media personality. With his millions of followers on social media. According to the announcement, Rock made a name for himself by sharing beauty tutorials on YouTube. He is Filipino-Hawaiian who is also Ilocano. He has been residing in Hawaii since he was seven years old.

As for Venus Raj, she hails from Bicol and is very proud of her roots. After representing the country in the pageant, Raj tried her hand in showbiz and other projects. Most recently, she is pursuing a masteral degree in Community Development at the University of the Philippines.

The special will be held on January 30 at 7:00 a.m. which is January 29, 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Pia Wurtzbach And Marlon Stockinger First Appearance As A Couple

One week after Pia and Marlon admitted their relationship, they appeared in public together for the first time. The pair appeared together at the event venue in Sofitel Philippine Plaza on January 22. The Miss Universe Organization feted Pia as she finishes her reign.

Stockinger declared that he was there to support his girlfriend, as well as join everyone in toasting Pia’s achievements as Miss Universe. He also said that he was “very very proud” of her.
