Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach Predicts Manny Pacquiao’s Win Over Jessie Vargas

“Knockout! Sure na sure.” Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach predicted Manny Pacquiao’s win over Jessie Vargas on Sunday. She watched Manny fight live for the first time at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. During an interview, Pia said that she knows Pacquiao will win and confidently said that it will be a knockout.

Pia Wurtzbach Predicts Manny Pacquiao’s Win, ‘Manny Will Do So Well’

In the video She wished Manny good luck. She was very excited to see the fight in person. Pia was very positive in saying that Manny will do ‘so well’ and that he will make the whole country proud again.

Although Pia wasn’t able to predict specific details, she was definitely on point when she said Manny Pacquiao will win over Vargas. Manny Pacquiao won over Jessie Vargas and claimed the WBO welterwight title by a unanimous decision. The judges score 114-113, 118-109 and 118-109 in favor of Manny Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao tells BBC, “I feel I could have done more but every round I tried to knock him out.”

Pia Wurtzbach Pacquiao Prediction Not The First Time

This isn’t the first time Queen P played prophet. In May 2015, Pia said that she would win Miss Universe 2015 to avenge the country from Manny Pacquiao’s defeat against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

We all know how that turned out. Pia Wurtzbach won Miss Universe 2015. She was the third Filipina to win the crown after Gloria Diaz who won in 1968 and Margarita Moran who took the crown in 1973.

Pia could be called a Manny Pacquiao fan. She posted a picture of her holding boxing gloves given to her by the champion earlier this year. She said , “I’ve always been a fan and I think some of you know that well.”
