Miss World-Philippines Catriona Gray In Final Round Of Talent Competition

The Philippine’s bet to the Miss World 2017 pageant, Catriona Gray has made it to the final round of the pageant’s talent competition. She joins other countries who also made it namely, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Hungary, Latvia, Malta, Mongolia, Poland and Ukraine. She is the only country from the Asian region who made it to the final round.

Sharing Her Talent in Singing

The update was shared through the Miss World Official Facebook account. According to an ABS-CBN report, Gray performed her version of the song “Moon River.” As one of the finalists, she has a chance to share her talent on stage during the Miss World 2016 coronation night on December 18.

Voting will determine who will win in the talent contest. Organizers behind the pageant will soon be releasing details on how voting will be done, the report said.

Gray is currently in the United States, where the pageant will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland.

One thing about Miss World-Philippines Catriona Gray is that she is serious about music. According to a GMA news report, she is a real Pinoy at heart because she loves to sing and is not afraid to hit the high notes. Her singing also brought her to be part of a magazine’s music issue in 2014.

True to being multi-talented, Catriona also cooks. According to the report, she knows her way around a kitchen and can also bake. She also shares her recipes and food photos on her blog.

An artist by heart, she has her own hashtag to label all her creations. While she mostly uses a pencil, she cited that she is trying her hand with other media as well.

She shows off her lighter side by sharing that she is the proud human of a dog named Marlie. Marlie is Catriona’s Rottweiler and according to her, her best friend.

Lastly, Catriona is clearly a woman of substance. She was part of the Pantene campaign that pushed forward gender equality, and she also has her own advocacy project called Paraiso, which promotes the work of a youth-focused foundation that helps kids in urban poor areas.

The Filipino people are one with her as she competes for the Philippines, and hopefully take home the country’s second Miss World crown.
